Maybe it's this recent onset of insomnia, maybe it's being surrounded by close friends and family who are basically all poets, maybe it's in anticipation of the first class I will ever take that concentrates exclusively on poetry and poetry writing, and maybe it's just delusions of grandeur; for whatever reason I've been trying to write poetry consistently for the past few weeks and for the first time in my life I feel I  may have gotten over that self-conscious phase in (attempted) poetry where every poem is uncomfortably self-aware. Whatever it is, for the first time in my life I have written poetry and I haven't been embarrassed by it. So

Well, I feel it necessary I explain myself. I used to be on dA as mostly a watcher and have decided to return on a new account and start posting my own stuff. I will post almost exclusively photography, though I would say that I am an avid lit. lover as well. Really, I'm very excited to be back in the community. It's hard to get back on your feet, and any help with favs and watches would of course be appreciated! =P I'm on the way to back to back retreats tomorrow, hopefully when I get back Tuesday I will have grown a tiny bit more of a following. For now, I thank those of you who care enough to read this, and who care enough to watch me. I p
